As you are aware, our christmas party is coming up this Saturday, 8 December. Please bring a small salad to share and we will provide meat and soft drinks. Whilst the members general information meeting will commence at 11am, we are planning a few other activities. Please register your interest in attending via the registration link so we can plan accordingly.
Commencing at 9am at Clarence Station, we will be having an information session that will introduce our online systems Confluence, Jira, Moodle and Slack and their importance within our organisation. Run by Tom and Wayne, this will cover our SMS and the necessary paperwork and procedures to run a successful work day. This session will be aimed at Site Supervisors, Managers, and those members looking to get more 'hands on'. Everyone is welcome and it would be great to see as many there as possible.
Following the lunchtime festivities, we intend to break into two groups: 1) those wanting to participate in some work; and 2) those needing to update their inductions and training (General Safety Inductions, Rail Safety Worker, and the like, held in Clarence Station). Work on the day may include: transport of sleepers to the Clarence Washaway site, minor earthworks at Clarence Washaway, and minor tasks at Bottom Points Workshop.
Given the work party will be out on track, all participants must have completed the online general induction and be enrolled (preferably completed) the ZZR Rail Safety Worker course. Please speak to Jon Rickard (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Wayne Eagle (email@example.com) if you have not completed these and would like to complete them prior to the day.
