We will be continuing track laying work at the washaway site this SUNDAY. Tasks will include drilling and spiking sleepers, and bolting up of rail (weather and work force depending).

If you are arriving late, please park in the observation bay on the northern side of Chifley Road and walk down to site.

Given we're out on track, all participants must have completed the online general induction and be enrolled (preferably completed) the ZZR Rail Safety Worker course. Please speak to Thomas Worley (operations@zigzagrailway.com.au) if you have not completed these.

What to bring:

  • Gloves
  • Lace-up safety boots
  • Hat
  • Orange hi-vis vest or jacket
  • Warm/appropriate clothing
  • Water bottle

Lunch:
Lunch will be available and arranged on the day for those who notify us of their attendance in advance.

*** RSVP required for catering purposes, any donations greatly appreciated ***

Overnight stay in Clarence barracks is available for those who wish to stay. This is on a first in-first served basis (BYO bedding for single beds).
